Gionee to Launch Its A1 Handset Soon India

Connectivity-wise, the Gionee A1 comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System. The launch event is going to be live streamed on official Gionee India Facebook page from 12 PM today. You can catch the livestreaming of the event on youtube.

The 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display carrying A1 is powered by MTK Helio P10 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and houses 4,010mAh battery.

If we talk about the storage capacity of the smartphone, it comes with a 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The selfie focused smartphone run on Android Nougat 7.0 with the company's own Amigo OS 4.0 on top. The dual-SIM enabled smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

Gionee smartphones have always been known for their good camera features, especially the front camera. The front camera also comes with beauty settings, which can be customised as per a user's needs.

The Gionee A1 sports a 4010mAh battery, and the company is also emphasising its new 18W "ultrafast charging" that it says can charge the battery fully in 2 hours. For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera with selfie flash. While this isn't exactly necessary for most situations, one would have guessed that Gionee would go with the trend and have a selfie flash anyway.

At its launch during MWC 2017, Gionee priced the A1 at Euro 349 (around Rs 24,600), while the Gionee A1 Plus is priced at Euro 499 (around Rs 35,200).

In terms of optics, Gionee A1 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus and shoot 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. It comes in three color options namely Black, Gray and Gold, and will be up for pre-booking starting March 31st. Dimensions of the phone are 54.5 x 76.5 x 8.5mm and it weighs 182 grams.
