Mel B has filed for divorce from Stephen Belafonte after 10 years.

Mel reportedly filed her divorce petition, citing irreconcilable differences - and according to the docs they've been separated since December 28, 2016.

For many, Mel's alleged split from Stephen will come as something of a surprise- considering that the America's Got Talent host had recently taken to social media to share a pretty touching message dedicated to Stephen.

She has asked a judge to deny spousal support to Belafonte, who is a film producer.

The singer and TV personality is divorcing Stephen Belafonte, her husband of nearly 10 years, citing irreconcilable differences.

Havas in the United Kingdom has also pulled advertising on behalf of UK-based clients. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Mel B is reportedly seeking joint legal and physical custody of the their 5-year-0ld daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte.

In February, the singer posted a photo of herself and Belafonte in February on Instagram, saying he was "her world".

The two only dated for five months before tying the knot, People reports. You loved me before I even [knew] how to really love myself.

It was claimed they had an open relationship and that Stephen was abusive and had isolated Mel, 41, from her UK-based family leading to an eight year estrangement from her sister, Danielle and mum, Andrea.

As well as Madison, she has a nine-year-old daughter, Angel, from her brief relationship with actor Eddie Murphy, and an 18-year-old daughter, Phoenix, from her first marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
