Microsoft Surface Book 2 to enter mass production, might cost around $1000

Unfortunately, for some reasons it never reached the expectations, as per the reports say, only 500,000 surface books were sold by the end of previous year. The first-generation Surface Book, while a stellar machine in its own right, was bogged down by its flawed design, most noticeable through a gap between the device's screen and keyboard when the laptop is closed. The entry-level model of the original Surface Book was priced $1,499 although it is now being offered at a discounted price of $1,299. All this is traditional for Microsoft when it is about to release a new product and wants to get the old stuff out of its warehouse.

While Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date and specs rumors continue to float around, analysts are confident that 2017 is the year the sleek, all-in-one, premium tablet will be released.

On the other hand, there are still conflicting reports when it comes to the processor of the Surface Pro 5.

I personally do not think Panos Panay and his team are going to remove the best thing about the Surface Book with its successor - as it will simply be an outright stupid thing to do.

The Microsoft Surface Book 2 could be one of unique looking Windows machines that customers might ever see in the market.

Huawei P10 Lite with 4GB RAM, full-HD display launched
The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone, which is listed for pre-orders from EE, Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone; will go on sale starting March 21.

In October 2015 Microsoft's Corporate VP for Surface, Panos Panay, launched "Surface Book" at a special event in his typically excitable way to say that it was 2X more powerful than Apple's MacBook Pro.

According to Digitimes, Mircosoft Surface Book 2 kicked up mass production at its production facilities, as the supply chain is gearing up for huge numbers. But now it seems that Microsoft would not bring the tablet feature to its Surface Book 2.

However, customers might be surprised as it was not the Microsoft Surface Book 2 that they were expecting.

One more morsel of information from the Surface sources was that the Surface Pro is still attractive to portable PC buyers, with a year-on-year shipment growth of 20 per cent. And yes, it's the question of the day.

Furthermore, it is virtually a giving that Microsoft will incorporate its highly-anticipated Windows 10 Creators Update on its upcoming line of Surface devices.
