Police identify victim in fatal Friday afternoon motorcycle crash

The crash happened near the intersection of S. Sheridan Blvd. and W. Vasser Ave. around 8:15 p.m.

Police say Gonzalez-McDaniel was riding Southbound on Mission in the median when he collided with a vehicle turning from San Juan Trail.

Portland Police Bureau North Precinct officers responded to a car-on-motorcycle crash at Northeast 57th Avenue and Northeast Sacramento Street around 9:45 p.m. March 19.

Investigators said two motorcyclists may have been racing along Parker at Northlane when one of them crashed into a auto.

Investigators said employees at the food-processing giants JBS and BRF paid federal inspectors to ignore problems with meat. A significant percentage of the meat processed by these companies is exported to many countries including European nations.

The right side of the motorcycle ran into the back of the sedan and the driver was thrown from the motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Life-saving efforts were not successful and the rider died at the scene.
