Holmes has been spending plenty of quality time with her nephews and her daughter recently, Instagramming pictures of the trio at the beach last month. But, he adds, joking, "I taught her how to skip rocks".

The brunette beauty - who plays Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and also stepped behind the camera for the third episode of the series - regularly brought 10-year-old Suri to visit the drama and not only did the youngster have her own special seat backstage, she also enjoyed some pampering thanks to the hair and make-up department.

"I think the most important thing in my life is giving my child the childhood I want her to have", Katie continued. "Between tickle fights and glitter art, I try to throw in some manners along the way".

"She's pretty used to it because she's grown up on a lot of sets", she told "Access Hollywood" at the Reelz miniseries' premiere Wednesday.
