'Real Housewives Of NJ' Star's Car Linked To Double Murder, Reports Say

The grisly discovery was made in Patterson, New Jersey, on Friday.

Two unidentified, badly burned bodies were found in the reality TV star's Audi on Friday.

The Passaic County Proescutor's Office is investigating and is using DNA to identify the two victims.

The Audi is usually driven by DePaola's 28-year-old son, Chris, but he left town Wednesday and loaned it to now missing buddy, Aaron Anderson, 27, according to the website TMZ. "My son and I are both safe", DePaola, who appeared on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" from 2010 to 2013, wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "Our deepest condolences go out to the victims" families during this truly horrific tragedy'. Firefighters were forced to cut open the roof of the vehicle in order to pull the bodies out, NBC reports.

Later Friday, police in Paterson responded to a call that shots had been fired on East 28th street. when cops arrived, the auto was fully engulfed in flames and the bodies burned beyond recognition.

Witnesses told how they heard two gun shots before the vehicle went up in flames.

Police have not released the victims' identities following the horror last week.

The boutique owner earned a reputation as one of the show's trouble makers after finding herself in the middle of more than one scandal concerning its main cast. On one episode, Kim was accused of "setting up" Gorga by implying Melissa had worked as a stripper, a claim Gorga has denied.
