Sir Alex Ferguson is set to take charge of Michael Carrick's Manchester United testimonial which will see a very-welcomed return to Old Trafford on June 4.

Come June and the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson will take to the sidelines once again to manage his Manchester United boys yet again.

Ferguson's side will face a Michael Carrick All-Star XI managed by Harry Redknapp that includes the likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Michael Owen.

While which players will play for the 2008 United side, there is a high probability that the retired duo of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, among others, will feature.

"My problem in the 2008 final, maybe I even regret it to this day, was I left Ji-sung Park out completely in the final", continued Ferguson. No [I don't miss managing]. It tells you Manchester United are probably the only club in England that can do that.

Neymar Could Leave Barcelona To Play for A Premier League Club
Neymar admitted that he is amazed by the Premier League and also confessed his love for the playing style and the teams involved. The Barcelona star used Leicester as a prime example and says they must be respected going forward in the Premier League.

Park was rarely considered more than a fringe player during his seven-year stay at Old Trafford, but Ferguson regularly called upon him in important, season-defining matches. I don't have to worry about you lads or the agents or the press conferences and having to control that press secretary of mine!

The legendary manager who hung his boots in 2013 after delivering United's 20th English Premier League title and his 38th in total, said, "I think the best bit will be seeing the players, to be honest with you. We don't have players here one minute and gone the next". I think we can be proud of that fact, being a family-type club.

Current United boss Jose Mourinho revealed recently that he has encouraged Sir Alex to travel with the first team to games and that he actively invites him to join the players in the dressing room.

"It was a really great bunch of players with a great attitude about them and a good, strong squad", he said.
