The Man in Black himself has shared a new look at The Dark Tower.

"Are you ready for another world?" Located in the fey region of End-World, amid a sea of singing red roses, the Dark Tower is the nexus point of the time-space continuum. Making its way out via Matthew McConaughey's Twitter account, the poster offers a hint at the intriguing world where the movie, based on Stephen King's book series of the same name, takes place, AceShowbiz reports. It's even more incredible that we don't have a trailer (pssst: that may not be the case for much longer).

But, we finally have the first look poster for the film.

The Dark Tower series tells the story of Roland Deschain, Mid-World's last gunslinger, who is traveling southeast across Mid-World's post-apocalyptic landscape, searching for the powerful but elusive magical edifice known as The Dark Tower.

And after Malaysian censors required an edit of the scene, Disney pulled the film from release in the predominantly Muslim nation. In fifth place is Lionsgate's The Shack , with US$6.1 million, for a total of US$42.6 million in U.S. sales in its third week.

Ahead of its release this July, The Fan Carpet are excited to bring you the debut Teaser Poster for Nikolaj Arcel's THE DARK TOWER, courtesy of Sony Pictures Releasing! In fact, the buildings even form the outline of the Dark Tower itself.

So, as you can see, the poster can be viewed in two different directions: as above, with Roland (Idris Elba) and Jake (Tom Taylor) standing at the bottom, or flipped upside-down.

Nikolaj Arcel directs with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer producing under their Imagine Entertainment banner along with Stephen King and Erica Huggins.
