Trump should apologize to Obama for wiretapping allegations: former Central Intelligence Agency chief

President Donald Trump has to "get away from tweeting" and concentrate on the job of being president, former Central Intelligence Agency director and Defense Secretary in the Obama administration Leon Panetta cautioned Thursday. Rogers said it was and added that he had seen nothing at the NSA that would indicate that happened.

"He asked for an investigation by the House and Senate Intelligence Committees".

It was more of the same from the National Security Agency.

Earlier in the hearing, the chairman of the committee contradicted an earlier assertion from Mr Trump by saying that there had been no wiretapping of Trump Tower.

According to Independent, Sir Peter Westmacott who served as the British ambassador to the United States said Trump's insistence that former president Barack Obama and the GCHQ wiretapped his phones during his campaign came from Russia's tactics on creating dissidence among its rivals.

Mr Rogers said that his agency is working to provide congress with the material it needs to investigate the intelligence agencies' findings.

Manchester City and Liverpool ran rampant on each other for 90 minutes as penalty decisions and missed chances meant a 1-1 draw. The spirit, how we played, it is one of my happiest days as a manager".

Federal Bureau of Investigation director, James Comey, is scheduled to speak today about Trump's wiretap claims in front of congress and it's already expected that he will debunk the president's allegations that Obama had him illegally wiretapped.

Despite having no proof to back his claims, Donald Trump insisted that his predecessor bugged his phones at the Trump Tower during his presidential campaign.

Testifying at a highly politically charged congressional hearing in the House, both said they had no evidence that any vote tallies were changed in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina or Ohio.

U.S. intelligence officials have not publicly raised the possibility of contacts between the Clintons and Moscow.

"And I would not be surprised if Director Comey today basically says as much", Panetta told "Morning Joe". "James Clapper and others stated there is no evidence Potus colluded with Russian Federation".

The committee is investigating, among other things, Russian hacking that intelligence officials have said was meant to influence the election.
