Can the Bruins top the Senators in Game 4? NHL Predictions 4/19/17

The Senators will face the Bruins in Game 4 on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and the start time for Game 5 on Friday at the Canadian Tire Centre has been set for 7:30 p.m.

In a series that's become defined by the B's health woes on the point (the Bruins skated in Game 3 without four of their regular National Hockey League defensemen), it's expected that Colin Miller will be the one that steps back onto the ice and makes his return to the club's blue line.

This is the second straight game in which the Bruins have given the Senators a power play in the overtime period and for the second straight game it has cost them. The Eastern Conference series is tied 1-1 and Game 3 is Monday night in Boston.

Trailing by a trio of goals through the first 24 minutes of play, the Bruins countered off of three unanswered goals in the second period, with Noel Acciari, David Backes and David Pastrnak all lightning the lamp in the frame.

Ottawa coach Guy Boucher expects more of the same when his Senators look to take a 3-1 series lead against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night at TD Garden.

Craig Anderson made 17 saves in the Ottawa goal while Rask had 28 saves for Boston. The over/under total for the game is listed at 5 goals. The Senators buzzed the Bruins to start OT with a clean sheet of ice, twice hitting the post before Dion Phaneuf won it with a goal from the left point seconds after his team's power play had expired. The first game we were tentative in the third period and (Saturday) we were too aggressive in the second period.

Defenseman John-Michael Liles had two assists for Boston, while defensemen Charlie McAvoy also had assists.

It was Sissons' first point since he scored two goals against San Jose on March 25.

Radio lessons for William, Kate and Harry as they visit school
Harry said he sought help at the advice of William after largely trying to ignore Diana's death because it was too painful. Kate drew on her own experiences as a new mother, noting that welcoming a first child is often a "life-changing moment".

Then, 42 seconds later, Ryan couldn't handle the puck in the own zone.

It didn't get much better for the Bruins in the second period, with an interference call against Kevan Miller leading to Ottawa's third goal of the night.

Unfortunately for Ryan, a couple of hand and finger injuries hampered his 16-17 campaign and he missed 20 total games for Ottawa. After he beat Anderson with a quick shot, the Senators challenged that the play was offside, but the goal counted after a long review.

MacArthur tied it on the power play with his first goal since April 19, 2015.

"I always say that you make your money during the season, but you make your reputation in the playoffs, and right now he's showing everybody that he's a gamer", Boucher said. When looking at the Bruins lineup in game one, and in game two, it's clear the team was decimated by injury.

Not only are there no changes to the active roster, the lines and pairings also looked the same at this morning's skate in Boston. Heading into game two, however, the team was down that same cast of players with the addition of Colin Miller. "He never needs to practice", Boucher said.

In Game 2, Ottawa was fortunate enough to convert on two of their shots from outside the home plate area.
