Google Home can now distinguish voices, support multiple users

A hotly anticipated upgrade to Google Home will let users train the company's virtual assistant to recognize different voices and provide personalized responses to each person.

A few things to keep in mind: If you have more than one Google Home in your house, you'll have to set up each one independently even if you share the same network; voice training is local to the device. Your voice is then analyzed by a neural network, and the device should recognize it thereafter.

To learn your voice, Google Home will ask you to speak the key phrases that "wake up" the device.

To try out this feature, be sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app.

Google Home, Google's intelligent voice-activated assistant, isn't all that different from Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana, and Amazon's Alexa.

Google said Google Assistant on Google Home should recognise you going forward and be personalised to you - from music to news. When properly set up, the new and re-vamped Google Home "only gives out personal details to the targeted user but still works for simple searches and requests for other users", which is a huge relief for parents with precocious, home hub-friendly kids. Now, the device will be able to handle multiple accounts and tell who's speaking to it, offering personalized answers to some questions.

Pradhan may be BJP's CM face for Odisha
The Muslim Personal Law Board-a non-governmental body that interprets Muslim Personal Law in India-has opposed the BJP's move. He also asked party leaders to not to get strayed into giving "misleading statements".

"Starting today, I can-and so can you".

Virtual assistants just got a lot more personal.

Now if you want to see how to use Multi User feature in Google Home we have written below.

Google Home: Where is multiuser support available?

Though Google has not made any comment on this prospect, there is a possibility that this new feature could be the starting of incorporating some of Google Assistant's features like creating notes, reminders and events that are now missing on Home.

Download the Google Home app from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store, depending on if you have an Android phone or an iPhone.
