Minnesota police department puts out hilarious 4/20 'preparations' tweet

Some departments are taking to social media to remind people who may wish to partake that they shouldn't be lighting up in their jurisdiction - and having a little fun doing it.

The Wyoming, Minnesota Police Department is at it again this year commemorating the faux holiday that marijuana-enthusiasts affectionately call "420".

The "trap" in the photo featured bags of Doritos and Cheetos alongside a can of Mountain Dew, a White Castle bag and a pair of Xbox video games.

"Discreet traps have been set up throughout the city today", police said.

On Thursday morning, the Wyoming Police Department tweeted that it would be setting up "discreet" traps throughout the city to catch stoners.

Trump administration shifts rhetoric on Russian Federation
A fact-finding mission from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is investigating the attack. Washington has no evidence that Russian Federation was involved in the suspected chemical attack in Syria's Idlib.

That tweet received more than 10,000 retweets and more than 16,000 likes.

And here's their tweet from previous year.

In a follow-up tweet, the police department said: "All jokes aside, substance abuse is a real issue. We use tongue in cheek humor to bring attention to those issues".

Undercover #420 stings are underway. They also offered to help find resources to those with substance abuse issues without issuing jail time.
