Police discover Bills lineman Kouandjio wandering in field

Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio reportedly was involved in a freaky situation involving police, according a Buffalo News report.

According to a report from the Buffalo News, Kouandjio was found by police in a field, partially clothed, having hopped an electric fence. When an Erie County Sheriff's deputy went to detain him, the source said, the 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio yelled, "Shoot me!". In his report, Carucci's source claims the Bills lineman told officers to "shoot him".

Kouandjio has played in 25 games with seven starts for the Bills after they drafted him out of Alabama in the second round of the 2014 National Football League draft.

According to the news site, police did not know Kouandjio was a professional athlete until discovering his abandoned vehicle, conducting a search and spotting Bills gear inside. A check of the license showed the vehicle was registered to Kouandjio.

Exactly what happened is unclear.

The statement continues, "We dont' have all the details, so we won't have any further comment at this time".

Kouandjio was not arrested but was taken to a nearby hospital for observation.
