Ehiogu, a former England global, made 355 Premier League appearances during spells at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

Tottenham Hotspur Under-23 coach Ugo Ehiogu is rushed to hospital after collapsing at the club's training centre.

On Twitter, the London side said the 44-year-old has received treatment on site before paramedics arrived and took him to hospital.

What teams did Ugo Ehiogu play for?

Ehiogu's career began at West Bromwich Albion as a youngster before earning a £40,000 move to Aston Villa. The defender helped the team to two League Cup successes, making in excess of 300 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Heading into the first-round of the post-season, there were a number of matchups that were of the too-close-to-call variety. In between, the Predators' defensive game frustrated the Blackhawks, with Rinne neatly cleaning up any messes left over.

His final club was at Sheffield United before retiring in 2009.

Did Ugo Ehiogu win any silverware?

He won the League Cup with Villa in 1996 and also with Middlesbrough in 2004. He started alongside Paul McGrath as Villa put three past at Wembley Leeds to lift the trophy.

"We can confirm that Ugo Ehiogu is now in hospital after collapsing at our Training Centre earlier today", Spurs confirmed.

He joined Tottenham's coaching staff in 2014.
