Rs 250-crore Tamil epic launched in Cannes

Cannes 2017 is extra special for multitalented actress Shruti Haasan, Jayam Ravi and Arya as the first look poster of their upcoming mega budget film "Sangamithra" was released at this film festival.

Taran Adarsh has shared the first look of the movie and tweeted alongside, "Shruti Haasan in #Sangamithra [Hindi, Tamil, Telugu]".

The makers have treated us to not just one, but two posters. The long waiting film Sangamithra is going to come most probably in two parts. With A R Rahman joining the crew, marking his Cannes debut, the celebration got a whole new dimension.

Sangamithra is an ambitious project and reportedly has a bigger budget than Rajinikanth's Enthiran 2 / 2.0 and Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion! In the posters, Jayam Ravi is seen sailing, while Shruti is riding a horse and she seems ready for war.
