DeMar DeRozan says Raptors would have won if they had LeBron James

The Cleveland Cavaliers remain undefeated in their first eight National Basketball Association (NBA) play-off games this season.

The NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers powered into the Eastern Conference finals yesterday, downing the Toronto Raptors 109-102 to complete a four-game sweep of their playoff series. "There's desperation at their end and desperation at our end".

"Winning close-out games is always tough", Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue said. Does he make a coaching change when the coach he's got (Dwane Casey) is one of only four to have his team in the top 10 on both ends of the floor twice in the last four seasons? Since the last time he was eliminated by an intra-Conference opponent - 2010, in his first stint with the Cavs - he's 80-20 in playoff games against the East, 32-4 since his return to Ohio. DeRozan could still get better, but Lowry and Ibaka are what they are. "We're playing for the sweat equity we've put in for 82 games". "That's all I've thought about right now". He stayed with primarily six guys all night with Powell the only player off the bench getting substantial minutes.

The Cavaliers and Warriors - again - look like they're on a crash-course to meet again in the NBA Finals.

"You're going to have to have very flexible defenders", Casey said, "and you're going to have score 117, 118 points a night".

It was eight minutes of clock time, but the series in microcosm: The Cavaliers absolutely torching the Raptors from distance, and Toronto unable to respond with three-point shots of their own.

On the series as a whole, Cleveland shot 61-for-131 (46.6%) from beyond the arc, while Toronto went just 27-for-90 (30.0%).

"If we had LeBron on our team too, we would've won", DeRozan said. I know I'm not a LeBron, and DeMar's not a LeBron.

Trump has denied revealing any classified information; the accusation came from an unnamed source and has not been substantiated. Aides said they were angry with a president who demands loyalty but is willing to publicly undermine his staff.

Tucker, who has battled James since they were nine years old, took little solace in his personal battle with basketball's biggest star. "It happened. We got swept and it's going to be one of them long summers for us". Like MJ did in the 90s, he's left several good teams - and some great players - wondering: what if?

"Mentally I had never been a part of it so I didn't know exactly how much commitment and how much sacrifice that you got to make not only for yourself but for your team".

Bench Brigade: Led by Kyle Korver, the Cavs bench out scored the Raptors bench, 26-7 in the first half. Korver, who did not play in the first quarter, was 6 of 8 in the second quarter, including his four 3-pointers. The Raptors' lead had morphed into a 16-point deficit by early in the third quarter.

So yes, having James on the Raptors would have likely led to an alternate story ending in Toronto.

Lowry sprained his left ankle in the third quarter of Game 2 and aggravated the injury while trying to warm up for Friday's Game 3.

"He's just been on another level", injured Raptors guard Kyle Lowry said.

His primary assignment, LeBron James, may have scored 35 points on 11-for-22 shooting (including 5-for-12 from deep), but P.J. made things harder on The King than we've seen anyone else do at any other point in this series. The Raptors also coughed up 17 points on 13 turnovers.
