Heard was equally excited about her arrival at the filming location.

The movie's director, James Wan, shared a stunning picture of the 31-year-old actress wearing a form-fitting green ensemble, complete with red locks.

We've seen her Mera before, but only as she'll appear in Justice League - which means that we haven't really seen her, since Zack Snyder's grim color palette preferences drained all the vivid green from her suit. Check out the gorgeous Amber Heard photo in full in the gallery below!

Trump's Chopper Couldn't Land On Israeli Site, So He's Not Going There
This announcement left Netanyahu's angry and White House officials had to reiterate that this was not Trump's position. During the nine-day, five-city foreign trip, he will travel to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Belgium, Italy and the Vatican.

The actress kicked off filming for the Warner Bros. superhero film on Thursday in Australia, where she slipped into her skin-tight costume to portray Mera in the upcoming flick. A plunging neckline exposes Heard's cleavage, while a gold symbol over the abdomen completes the star's look as Mera. The director added it was taken on Heard's first day on the set.

Amber Heard has made landfall in a pair of new photos from the set of Aquaman. She joked that the "moment" when she had the photo taken had been preceded by prepping for more than a year for the role, training to look the part for six months, and denying herself "pleasure", in the form of "donuts".

Any film that involves intense action sequences or revealing costumes often send actors to seek out the help of physical trainers and, as Cinema Blend reported, that has been just the case for Amber Heard.
