If Holba can carve a career with the same consistency as Warren, the Steelers can consider the sixth round pick a steal from the 2017 draft.

Green (concussion) was released by the Steelers on Thursday following a failed physical, Teresa Varley of Steelers.com reports.

The latter, Warren, wasn't the surprise that Green was.

Holba may have competition for the job, but it doesn't look like it will be coming from Warren. Now, he's no longer a member of the team. Frazier who was activated from the DL last Friday after missing almost three weeks with a strained left hamstring, is getting a chance in left field.

Green also had concussion concerns while playing for the Chargers.

Frazier started the season as a utility player. "After discussing this with the Steelers, we have decided it would be in everyone's best interest to release me at this point".

Applications for US jobless aid fell to 3-month low of 232K
Claims have now been below 300,000, a threshold associated with a healthy labor market, for 115 straight weeks. The Labor Department said Thursday claims for unemployment benefits fell 4,000 to 232,000.

"Greg has been a big part of our past success, and we would like to thank him for his contributions and wish him nothing but the best", said General Manager Kevin Colbert.

The Chiefs have already made a few moves this offseason at tight end, including the signing of former Cowboys TE Gavin Escobar and the trade of James O'Shaughnessy to the New England Patriots.

Green had 304 yards and a touchdown on 18 catches in six games last season.

Ladarius Green is no longer a Pittsburgh Steeler.

Green failed a physical, resulting in the release.

One year after signing a four-year contract with the Steelers, Ladarius Green is looking for a new home. Green dealt with the lingering effects from concussions that caused him to miss 10 games in 2016. He was placed on the reserve/PUP list on August 30 and didn't play until Week 10.
