ICC Champions Trophy Dinesh Karthik replaces injured Manish Pandey in India squad

India's updated Champions Trophy 2017 squad: The player of KKR, Manish Pandey is unluckily going out from the Champions Trophy 2017 squad.

Indian middle-order batsman Manish Pandey has been ruled out of next month's ICC Champions Trophy due to a side strain and will be replaced in the squad by wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik, the BCCI announced on Thursday. Karthik's inclusion will boost the middle-order.

Karthik was one of the five stand-byes and has been rewarded for his stupendous form in the domestic cricket last season. With the win, Tamil Nadu became the first team to win all BCCI domestic tournaments.

Pandey will also be missing Kolkata's crucial Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians.
