Microsoft's New Surface Pro Revealed In Leaked Photos

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Surface Pro 5 Could Release Sooner than Anticipated?

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Surface Pro 5 Could Release Sooner than Anticipated?

That, at least, is according to tipster Evan Blass, who claims that Microsoft will unveil the "Surface Pro" at its launch event in Shanghai next week.

Going by the leaked images, the device is simply being referred to as the Surface Pro and looks much like last year's Surface Pro 4.

Panos Panay may have said that the Surface Pro 5 does not exist, but that certainly does not mean there's not a Surface Pro 4 successor. "There's no such thing as a Pro 5". And while we've all been expecting a major refresh in the form of Surface Pro, we are only been handed down an iterative version of the previous Surface Pro 4 model - launched about 18 months ago. This alleged device could be the upcoming Surface Pro 5 with upgraded hardware specifications.

James, Love help Cavs rout Celtics 117-104 in Game 1
That challenge is made even more hard when a guy like Love is playing at the level he did Wednesday night, right alongside James. James is averaging 34.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game in these playoffs.

What appears to be new additions to this device are its accessories. Like the recently announced Surface Laptop, the new Surface Pro won't have any USB-C ports. Other than this, there is no information available about the upcoming Surface Pro, so we suggest you hold your horses till May 23rd and stay tuned with us for more information on its pricing and availability. The new Surface Pro will also have new Pen and Type Cover color options that will be similar but not identical to the Surface Laptop's color palette.

Blass Notes that, despite rumours about a Surface Book 2, this won't make its debut at next week's event. Now it will be the default Type Cover for the new Surface Pro tablet. The successor for the Surface Pro 4 is long overdue, so we hope rumors are accurate, and the Surface Pro will launch on May 23 alongside its accessories.
