Senate investigators: Flynn won't honor subpoena

Burr initially said Flynn was not complying with a subpoena issued by the committee before quickly walking back his remarks to reporters. Mark Warner (D-Va.), the committee's vice chairman, said he believes Burr's comments that Flynn has more time to comply with the subpoena were correct.

Flynn - the former national security adviser who was sacked in February for misleading Vice President Pence and other White House officials about the contents of a December phone call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak - has been under scrutiny for accepting payments from Russia and Turkey and allegedly misleading the government about them. Flynn reportedly had six undisclosed phone calls with Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak.

Trump's former national security adviser will not honor a subpoena from the Senate Intelligence Committee, according to that panel's top senator. The House did this anticipating the Justice Department's refusal to prosecute Holder in 2012, only to have a federal judge turn them down as well. It is also unclear whether, given the subject matter, there is any reason the Senate could not determine that Mueller is the appropriate U.S. Attorney for the matter. Even with this information, Trump named him national security adviser.

On Jan. 4, Flynn informed Trump transition team lawyer Don McGahn that he was under investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for lobbying on behalf of the Turkish government during the 2016 presidential race despite not registering as a foreign agent, The New York Times reports.

This new movie is set within the El Sereno area of South Los Angeles, once home to the spin-off Fear the Walking Dead . Ayer doesn't make good movies exactly, but before getting derailed by DC, he made some pretty insane ones.

After Trump's inauguration, Flynn's representatives told the White House counsel that Flynn, who was already serving as national security adviser, would be registering with the Justice Department.

The White House says an investigation will prove there was no collusion.

While Flynn "is not cooperating" so far, Burr said, he hasn't gotten a "definitive" answer from Flynn's lawyers. That inquiry is looking into whether Flynn was fully forthcoming about his foreign contacts and earnings from organizations linked to the governments of Russian Federation and Turkey.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said he wasn't particularly surprised that Flynn wouldn't cooperate, noting that if he's under criminal investigation, Flynn might not be able to comply with what Congress wants.
