Wednesday’s First Warning Forecast Turning up the heat and humidity

My hope is that the rain times out in a way that gives us a chance to enjoy some sunshine and seasonal temperatures. This shouldn't be an all day steady rain, but we could have a couple of periods of rain and thunder.

The severe weather threat is rather low for us at this time, but we can not rule out an isolated storm or two containing some strong winds or small hail. Cloudy, with a high near 68. Daytime highs will climb into the mid-teens with gusty southeast winds.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Thursday could have spotty afternoon showers, skies are cloudy, and it is mild in the low 70s. North winds 5 to 15 miles per hour. Through the afternoon thunderstorm chances will build, especially as we move into tonight.

Sunday Night: Showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Wind: NE 5 miles per hour. Wind: SE 5 miles per hour. The humidity will be lower, and overnight temps should drop into the upper 50s.

Saturday is forecast to partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon and evening. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. The Upstate should stay dry through the day, but once again the mountains will see pop-up showers and a few strong storms potentially. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Aside from an early evening shower or rumble, most of the night is dry. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51 degrees. Rain chances every day through Wednesday. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.
