WhatsApp pinned chats now available for Android users

While WhatsApp is constantly working on bringing new features to its users, the popular messaging service provider has finally added the new pinned chats feature for Android devices. The company has rolled out "Pinned Chats" which as the name implies, will allow you to pin chats special to you, to the top of the chats window. Tap the pin icon and the chat will move right to the top of the chats.

WhatsApp's "pinned chat" feature lets you pin their favourite chats on the top of the app. Users can pin up to three chats on WhatsApp and the feature works both for the group chats and individual chats.

Attorney general orders tougher sentences, rolling back Obama policy
Sessions stated that the directive could interfere with the Bureau of Prisons' need to host more inmates in the future. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., applauded the change, saying it was "common sense" and will help reduce crime and drug use.

iOS users will have to wait a bit longer.

Pinned chats allow you to quickly get to the messages of contacts you regularly chat with, instead of skimming the list from top to bottom, hunting for that one chat you want to find. Then they can tap the pin icon at the top of the screen. You are also able to unpin the chat just as easily, and this can be done by once again tapping and holding the chat, which will give you a number of options. As a result of which you will have a pin icon pop up, next to the delete and mute button. Once you select, the concerned chat will move down to its regular place in the list of chats. Aidan Bishop of The International lifts the lid on the struggles of running a comedy club in the digital age, and can you really make a living from cracking gags? The major benefit of this feature is that you will not need to scroll through a list of chats to message your family members or friends.
