"I'm sorry it's causing everyone frustration, but the law requires that I allow a deliberating jury to continue to deliberate". Directing them to keep trying to reach a unanimous decision.

While many in the courthouse have been speculating about the jury's progress, it has been couched under a thick veil of confidentiality - the jurors have been warned against talking to the media while judicial officials refused to tell The New York Times whether they are able to have a computer over the course of their sequester.

The sequestered jury broke for the night at 9 p.m. EDT Wednesday after meeting for 12 hours on the fourth day of deliberations.

If, after further deliberations, they still can not reach consensus, a hung jury will cause the judge to declare a mistrial.

Cosby, 79, pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is accused of sexually assaulting the then 31-year-old Constand in January 2004 inside his Elkins Park home.

Each of the three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Cosby carries a maximum 10-year prison term, though the counts could be merged at sentencing if he is convicted.

As the jury went back in, Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt and Gloria Allred, who represents several Cosby accusers in other cases, traded competing narratives about what the impasse means.

Legal experts said the trial fits the "he said, she said" arguments so common to sexual offense cases. They also asked to rehear Cosby's 2005 deposition.

On Friday morning, jurors came back with more questions.

Constand was in the courtroom and showed no emotion as the statement was read.

There was no message included with the video, which was soundtracked with the Harlem Globetrotters theme, and no explanation for why there was a basketball hoop in the courthouse.

The defense asked for a mistrial, but O'Neill denied the request. He added that Cosby "is just happy that we have fair and impartial jurors".

Doing so would "help patients know what they're getting into" and "would also allow for. more competition", Casper said. This bill, now in the Senate, is opposed by leading medical organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Although the trial concerns only the allegations of Constand, around 60 women have publicly accused the legendary entertainer of being a serial sexual predator in remarkably similar accusations that span four decades.

If Cosby is convicted, even on one count, prosecutors will probably petition for his $1 million bail to be overturned so that he be taken into custody immediately. She said after she started experiencing those effects, Cosby escorted her to a sitting room, he testified.

Last week, Mason testified in court about his interview with Constand.

"He is not Cliff Huxtable", she said, referencing Cosby's dad role on his acclaimed 1980s sitcom "The Cosby Show". "That's really what happens when you have a he-said-she-said case". He says he gave her an over-over-the-counter cold and allergy medicine to help her relax and that the encounter was consensual.

"Put them down, they're your friends". He told them they had to rely on their collective memory. "The jury foreman has informed me that you are deadlocked", O'Neill said during court. She becomes a critical player in that decision.

She woke up on the couch early in the morning with her clothes disheveled, she said. I also want to thank the supporters who have been here. After a lunch break, jurors were expected to review testimony from Constand and her mother about phone conversations they had with Cosby after the alleged assault.

Defense attorneys argued that the sexual contact was part of a consenting relationship between Cosby and Constand. The unsealed deposition was central to Cosby's ongoing criminal case.

After the jury adjourned Tuesday night, he left the courthouse on his spokesman's arm, waving and giving a thumbs-up to well-wishers as he got in his SUV. It was at Temple she met Cosby, a member of the board of trustees. She made the report in her home province of Ontario, Canada. "It was a lot of confusion putting a lot of dates together".

Constand's lawyer, Dolores Troiani, said only that the "jury is apparently working very hard".

The drugs he gave Constand were over-the-counter Benadryl, he had said.

Cosby was back at the courthouse outside Philadelphia as the panel of seven men and five women got to work. At the time, the district attorney declined to press charges, citing insufficient evidence.
