Quetta - Two naval officials embraced martyrdom and another three sustained wounds when their vehicle came under a militant attack in Jiwani tehsil of Gwadar district Monday, the deputy commissioner said.

The sailors were transporting iftar items during a routine run from Jiwani city when their vehicle was ambushed by four assailants on two motorbikes, reported DawnNews.

A spokesman for Pakistan Navy said the three Naval personnel were injured in the attack.

"The attackers opened fire on the vehicle, leaving one officer martyred and five wounded", an official said.

Chief Minster Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri condemned the attack and directed the concerned authorities to submit a report to him after completion of the investigations.
