Five people who died in the blaze have been identified and 74 were missing and presumed dead following the devastating blaze in the council-owned Grenfell tower block in west London.

Five days after the fire that sparked criticism for the government and other authorities, police are still trying to confirm the total loss of life - as well as the cause.

The number of people killed in the Grenfell Tower fire has risen to 79 - but that figure could still change, police say.

Commander Cundy said the conditions in the tower "verge on indescribable", and warned of the potential "terrible reality" that some people may never be identified.

One photo shows a burnt-out elevator on an undisclosed floor of the public housing project that was ravaged in Wednesday's inferno, while another shows an apartment that was reduced to rubble and white ash.

"I've said before one of my absolute priorities is to identify people as quick as we can, to recover them from Grenfell Tower".

The government has promised a full public inquiry, but that has done little to a sense of frustration at the lack of information about how the fire moved so quickly to engulf the building.

Mr Cundy said: "The investigation will be exhaustive".

The company was maintained on Monday, March 14 by Credit Suisse. (NASDAQ:WETF) on Friday, January 29 with "Neutral" rating. Company's distance from 20 day simple moving average is 3.71% and distance from 50-Day simple moving average is 0.89%.

Cundy said the police investigation into the blaze would look at the building and its refurbishment in 2016 and vowed to prosecute people "if there is evidence".

Engineering experts and fire safety specialists believe the building's exterior cladding may have quickly fueled the blaze, overwhelming fire protection devices.

Families who have lost their homes must be supported, he said, grieving people must be helped and lessons must be learned following the tragedy, including ensuring it is not "so hard" for those who need help to find it.

"In our meeting at Downing Street, we explained to the prime minister the anger of all residents towards the management of the estate over a long period of time, paving the way to this tragedy", the group said.

The GRT said 50 families, who wished to work with the authorities, have been given a key worker today.

Around 70 people are missing, according to Britain's Press Association, and identification of the victims is proving very hard.

Prime Minister Theresa May, under pressure for keeping a distance from angry residents on a visit to the charred remains of the 24-storey block last week, has previously said that the response to the disaster was "not good enough".

I can confirm that a 5 million pound ($6 million) emergency fund that I announced yesterday is now being distributed on the ground so people can buy clothes, food and other essentials.
