AC Milan are keeping tabs on Renato Sanches, and will attempt to prize the midfielder away from Bayern Munich this summer.

After the signing Sanches in May last year, the 19-year-old has struggled to make a real impact at the Allianz Arena.

Sanches, 19, victor of the 2016 Golden Boy award and voted best young player at Euro 2016, has struggled to meet expectations at Bayern since his move last summer from Benfica.

The Rossoneri have stunned world football landing Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus, while Milan have signed defenders Ricardo Rodriguez, Andrea Conti and Mateo Musacchio, midfielders Franck Kessie, Lucas Biglia and Hakan Calhanoglu, and forwards Andre Silva and Fabio Borini.

Sanches was one of the most sought after young players in the world a year ago.
