Amazon Rumored to Release Its Own Feature Rich Messaging App

The report refers to client review data and clarifies that Anytime will have standard messaging elements, for example, encryption, video bolster, sound help, and stickers. Amazon wants a piece of the action and is working on own stand-alone messaging app called 'Anytime'. With "Anytime", users will also be able to chat with businesses to make reservations, check on their orders, and even shop, as per the leaked promotional image. Facebook's WhatsApp & Instagram, Telegram and Snapchat, among others have amassed more than a billion active users and now, leading e-commerce giant Amazon is planning to launch its own messaging application dubbed as "Anytime".

The Anytime app will be a full-featured, standalone messaging app across smartphones, tablets, PCs and smart watches.

Messaging apps dominate the top charts of the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Two tourists killed in knife attack in Hurghada
Most of the terrorist operations were claimed by a Sinai-based group loyal to the regional Islamic State (IS) militant group. The police raided their hiding place in Giza province near the capital Cairo and exchanged fire with the two Hasm members.

The service claims to allow users to keep chats private and encrypt important messages. These apps introduced in 2016 did not fare up to the expectation in the already competitive market segment. They can reach out to their friends using just their name and @mentions as well as make use of filters for photos and video with "special effects and masks'".

Other services that Amazon's app will offer will include playing games with groups of friends and was a "ready product" but had no details of launch.

Rumors will be put to rest as soon as Amazon releases an official confirmation and beta of this app.
