"Of course", Wenger said about Sanchez remaining an Arsenal player beyond the summer, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed "positive" talks with star forward Alexis Sanchez over his future at the Emirates, despite reports the Chile worldwide is set to leave this summer.

However, Wenger - in Australia for Arsenal's pre-season tour which continues against Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday - is positive about Sanchez's future at Emirates Stadium.

The Frenchman spoke just yesterday about how he was feeling "positive" over the situation, despite no sign of the former Barcelona man signing a new contract.

"Players like Alexis Sanchez played the whole season, finished the season really exhausted and went off to play in the Confederations Cup", Wenger added. "My thoughts are always positive".

Arsene Wenger believes Alexis Sanchez will remain at Arsenal beyond the summer and is confident the Chile star will sign a new contract.

Talking Smack Cancelled As Regular Series
Even stranger, it truly seemed like WWE's talents were benefiting from the free-form arena Talking Smack supplied. WWE released the following information regarding the cancellation.

"Usually you need three weeks but they will have a programme that they have to follow and can be involved after one week to 10 days, they can be in the squad and play in part of games".

"You can not tell them that they are not having a holiday and must come back and continue, it's impossible", Wenger added.

"It also depends on the shape they come back in".

Wilshere will be welcomed back into the fold provided he is ready to fight for his place in the starting XI.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has stressed that he has yet to reach an agreement with Alexis Sanchez to keep the player at the club for at least another year.
