Cowboys' Lucky Whitehead says someone is demanding ransom after taking his dog

Making matters worse, Whitehead claims the thieves have contacted his phone and demanded ransom in return for Blitz. While out of town, Blitz was being taken care of by a close friend at my house and someone broke in and took him.

It's obviously not everyday that a dog gets taken for ransom, especially from a house not even belonging to the person who owns the dog, which makes this story even more depressing.

"We pretty much went everywhere together, we hung out all the time".

Whitehead appears to have adopted the attractive, blue-eyed pup on May 13 and since then, he has posted several photos and videos of his pet, often sporting cute superhero costumes, and even his own Dallas Cowboy kit.

Top 26-year-old only wants to sign for Liverpool this summer
On Saturday, a video was shared around Liverpool fans of Van Dijk reportedly "smiling" when an Albanian Reds fan told him to switch to Anfield.

Whitehead signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Florida Atlantic in 2015. Whitehead said a detective was unable to trace the phone from which the thieves called him.

Whitehead said he has had the dog nine or 10 weeks.

"It's killing me", Whitehead told the station. All oddities aside, the guy just wants his dog Blitz back and for any dog owners out there, you know the feeling of being without your best canine companion.

But no matter what else, "I just want the dog back".
