Liverpool man reportedly in talks over a summer departure

Liverpool have accepted a £5m bid from Lazio for midfielder Lucas Leiva.

With one year left on Lucas's deal, Liverpool couldn't expect more than £5m - so the decision now rests with the player himself.

Gianluca Di Marzio revealed a deal is done for Lucas to make the move to the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

Gremio, the player's former club, had expressed an interest in re-signing him as did Brighton, Celtic and Newcastle United, managed by his ex-Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.

The study has also claimed that it may pose very serious risks to pregnant women and young children. The FDA is aware of phthalates in our food and considers them to be "indirect food additives".

In contrast to this, Times' journalist Paul Joyce reports that Lazio have already submitted a bid for Lucas and that the midfielder may not be part of the Liverpool squad to play Wigan Athletic this evening.

Having joined Liverpool in 2007 for a fee of £5m, the same season as ex-Liverpool talisman Fernando Torres signed, Lucas is now Liverpool's longest serving player at the club.

However, he completely transformed in the following campaign and, despite the Reds still finishing a disappointing sixth, he was voted the club's Player of the Year.

The 30-year-old - a cult hero at Liverpool who enjoys a close relationship with manager Jurgen Klopp - came close to leaving the club in the last transfer window.
