The Walt Disney Company this evening revealed a scale model of the Star Wars land that it is building at Disneyland in California and Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Chapek will reveal new details about the project during the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts presentation at D23 Expo Saturday.

Earlier this year, fans at Star Wars Celebration were treated to some pieces of concept art of what the Star Wars Land attraction will look like at Walt Disney theme parks.

Guests of Star Wars Land will be able to pilot the Millennium Falcon, as well as find themselves in the middle of an exciting battle between Stormtroopers and Resistance fighters.

'All along, we have said this will be game-changing, and through the model we can begin to see how truly epic these immersive new worlds will be'.

Jerusalem shooting: Attack near Old City leaves three dead, police says
In that time, Israeli forces have killed more than 254 Palestinians, majority said by Israel to be attackers. While a number of attacks have occurred around Jerusalem's Old City, they have often involved knives.

The Disney Parks blog describes the setting for the new lands as "a remote trading port", and fittingly, Han Solo's spaceship, the Millennium Falcon, is docked at the back of the model. But if you are hoping to recognize the landscape that makes up this Star Wars land, don't rack your brain for too long.

The park expansion is set to open in 2019.

D23 covers numerous various business elements of Walt Disney Co., including films and television production. The unveiling came at the D23 expo, now being held in Anaheim, California, where the models are on display through the weekend.

In addition, the pavilion will display models, artwork and media that provide a first-ever look at some of the locations, starships, creatures, and droids that guests will encounter when they visit this new planet.
